Flash Bang Wallop was developed for the Science Museum (London) who were looking for a new blockbuster family show to be presented in their interactive gallery, Launch Pad.
The show looks at the science behind explosions and how they can be used for entertainment (as fireworks/party poppers), in transport (in combustion engines) and to fight fires (think Red Adair!).
There are plenty of stunning experiments and loud bangs as powders, chemicals and pyrotechnics are all ignited. The show climaxes when Barbie, the 'human' cannonball, is fired across the stage.
show me learning researched and scripted the show, designed and authored the animation/multimedia, provided the props and accompanying safety and presenter training.
The show has become a Launch Pad 'classic' and has regularly appeared in the press and on TV, appearing on Channel 4's science based quiz show 'Do Fish Fart?'.
